Default Looking for base MS settings for my B230FT

Okay, so i got from a guy volvo740 wich orginal was vith b20 and carburetor
and he had started putting b230ft in it an had a Megasquirt1 v2.2 to run it with
he said it had worked but then somthing burned in the megasquirt and he stopped using the car
when i got the car i took the megasquirt out and had it fixed
and now i need some map or msq file who works with ms1 v2.2 to get the car running agine
it is just stock b230ft
with stock injectors
stock turbine
2.5" exhaust
an uses the hall sensor to controle the injectors (lh2.2?)

so if anyone can help my whit some base map or something that would be great
because i have no idea how to program megasquirt

you're going to need to get some idea how to program and tun MS. There are going to be settings initial ignition advance, code based outputs, acceleration enrichment, base fuel setting that you're going to need to make based on your setup.

Speaking from (little) experience, even if you get a "basic" tune file, it won't make the car run well at all. It may crank, and possibly drive, but you'll be doing a lot of setup yourself. There really is no "one-size-fits-all" tune file.

I'm going to try Tunerstudio Live VEanalyze tomorrow to see how it works. You have to pay for this particular software upgrade, but I'm at the point now where I need some help with the tune, so it's worth a shot.

I know that if i get map i have to optimize it so it fits my car
i'm just looking for something to start with so i don't have to make it from zero

I have been reading the megasquirt manual to see what i need to do and how im going to do it

It isn't the map you need, it's everything else.

Does the car run?

I have found it to not be as good as I was hoping, I'll be playing with it further in the near future though. It will not help you work around problems elsewhere in the tune

It works decent for me, but I have only used it for cruising ranges above 2300 or some ****.

It doesn't as well as I hoped either. Keeps leaning the car out way too much when left to it's own devices.

I'm spending some time getting the WBO2 delay setup and I think it's getting a little better. I've just been playing with it really.

I payed for the reg key because I use the software so much I felt like I should contribute.

I was also underwhelmed. It seemed to take huge swipes where small adjustments were needed.

It really leaned me out drastically. Even with my target AFRs and a fully functional WB going right in front of me, I have no idea why it made the changes it did.

Quite frankly, this entire process is testing my patience tremendously.

Brett..I haven't tried it yet because I can't really get a good log going. Where you ever able to find the VE bin maps for that manifold/injector setup. That would REALLY be a huge help, or at least get me on the road long enough to get a quality datalog together to send to Heebspeed.

I'm getting the head rebuilt now, and will follow-up with you once it's back together.

Brett...any chance you found the maps for your manifold and these Deka injectors? An msq file for your old setup may get me a lot closer than starting from scratch. And I'm running out of time to get this thing tuned for our race in Sept.
