Anyone interested in driving a 400+whp /mid 11 second 242 from socal? Its a fabulous road trip car.

It looks like ill be able to just barely swing davis this year. Not sure what I want to do for a room situation yet.

Sure! Or, do you mean you are offering it up for someone to drive the car up for you, because it's such a fabulous road trip car?

Sure, if you're down for leaving the LC way way early. I'm leaving Albuquerque around 4am, which will put me in Flagstaff around 9, and hopefully Bakersfield around 6 that night. Maybe you could just stay in ABQ the night before? I thought Las Cruces was 270 something miles away? Scottyd mentioned staying in San Luis Obispo, but that's another 120 miles from Bakersfield. I trust my car, but I don't want to push it too much.
I'm trying to figure out a good way to carry lots of extra gas this time. Stopping in Needles to fill up sucked big time last year when I went to LA.

That may work. I should try and swap in a stock seat for the drive.

I don't remember there being much sleep in the Davis parties of years gone by, but admittedly missed the past couple years' festivities.

Did you guys mellow out that much to allow Logan to get some actual sleep?

I had a seriously bad experience at a Motel 6 once... (and a couple inadequate stays at others) I'm not staying at one again...

I split a room at the Howard Johnson down the street last year to take a nap and use a clean shower. It worked out well, so I'll do it again.

I'm baller like that

I'm also really really hoping to have the 242 running by then... Hopefully well enough to trust it on the trip... If I don't have the a/c sorted though, it will wait 'til next year. I'm a pussy like that...

Is that why you looked like you were getting raped while smelling bad cheese by the time you got to Davis? Just kidding. If Keith can't help you out I can drive you in from Salinas and have Russ drive my 244.

Keith- you should help him get the 242 up here, it's real easy to drive, just has a good bite from the loud pedal.
