I ain't skeered. I got a 25-over ticket a few years ago, and have kept a very good radar detector in the car at all times since. All my other ish is up to snuff...except I don't have to run a front plate in NM, so I'm exempt.
Rebuilt the M47 today at work in preparation. If I'm going to take an NA 240 to Davis, it's certainly not going to have a slushbox in it, especially with gas prices going up as much as they are.

i just apply the laws of natural selection to ensure there is a more attractive target around at all times, such as a brightly colored sports car or speeding hoopty with a headlight out.

I'll be staying in a different hotel. I'm all for partying, but I also like my sleep.

Nope. There are ALWAYS more TBer's than post up here, especially this far out, plus those who are not on the forum, on other forums, or just part of VCOA.

There is always a HUGE crowd at the '6' and the other hotels, I have seen 100 at one hotel in the past.

The party is always big.

1208 miles from here to SLO to Davis. I do like the 101 though, so I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Usually there is a series of stops along the route for the So Cal people coming up.
Stop in LA where the southern people join, SLO where they always leave late, Salinas where they meet me!!!, San Jose for the Santa Cruz and south bay, Fairfield for the north bay, then 20min to Davis.

The drive isn't that bad, in fact it has been fun in the past.
