The fire breathing monster came out of hibernation this weekend at the Olympus Rally! With it's new owner Cody Crane doing his best John Lane impersonations. Had some mechanical issues, to be expected after being in hibernation for so long [note the exhaust falling off...]
Plenty of other Volvos too, Nate Tennis here in the Karl Jardevall owned/prepped 940 which won the regional 2wd class [believe if it was entered in nationals it would have won that too]
Derek Knight and Robert in the now B230FT powered 242 [did pretty well despite a few mechanical gremlins over the weekend]
18 year old Chase Hovinga in the ex Valencia/Rallybrick/Hardy 242, had a loose coil wire leaving Parc Expose which set him back right away but stayed out there and kept it fairly clean [rolled at OTR]
And last but not least, Al in the 242. Car worked very well, just a couple of missed notes that let to some tree meetings. Expect to see more of this car on the landing page very soon!
