Default Volvo Amazon Flywheel removal

Hi All,

I'm having issues removing the transmission flywheel on my 122. B18 engine with M40 trans. I've removed the bolts. Do I need a flywheel puller to get the flywheel off?

No it should fall off unless it's rusted on.

Re-install at least 1 flywheel bolt, but don't tighten the bolt, leave it a little loose.

Then using a prybar, gently move it off the back of the crankshaft, then remove the bolt and flywheel.

This way, the flywheel can't fall off until after the bolt is removed.

Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I'm guessing it's a bit rusted on but I will give it try.
