Volvo's in Snow

My piece of s_h_i_t yesterday in the snow..

Psh whatever, your car is so sweet! I need to finish raising my struts and install my jeep springs in the rear so I can clear snow banks, I'm going to copy you!

It's a decent snow-machine. BUT, I've managed to get it stuck TWICE in two days. Yesterday got it lodged into 2 feet of snow. Someone winched me out, thankfully.

Today, was doing just fine and cut a corner too tight and stuffed 'er into a snowbar and had to be pulled out again. My stupidity for sure. The thing does great otherwise.

I love your car andy, my mate has a 79 in that colour with not a spot of rust on it, less than perfect paint though, and its a B21A with a 3 speed slushbox, slow as hell.

245s are awesome in the snow with good tires. Heres my 79 wagon, just taken chains off after going up a steep hill, don't need them any more. I have 2 studded snows that I throw on the back whenever the weather is bad, got caught out this day with unexpected amounts of snow and just all seasons on.

I also am missing bits of the wheel trim here due to using chains, I do have a full set of chrome centre caps and beauty rings

Yep, ripped the exhaust off due to the logging road having a foot high lump of ice in the middle and tire tracks on either side, it was scraping most of the way and eventually ripped off completely. Strapped it to the roof and drove 3 hours home with an open downpipe in true TB style. N/A with open downpipe = loud.
