B204FT with AW71L

Hi T-bricks experts!

I drive a 945 Polar with B200FT and AW71L 1996 (Italian version)

I have a chance to buy in a reasonable price a low mileage B204FT (complete swap).
I know it came as stock with M46 tranny however I would like to mate it with AW71L.

Now the question is:
Anyone did it before and has some tips to share?
Are crossbars under the B200(230)FT and B204FT the same?

Nope. Different crossmember. 16v has extra bracket welded on drivers side.

Get the engine. Cross members are differant but motor mount will be easy to make though.
Yes the b204 will work with aw71.
