Thanks to everyone.

Guys it was really great finally meeting everyone. I hope everyone made it back safely. There were so many cars I've been staring at for years in pictures and it was great to finally see them. As always, turbobricks are a very mellow bunch. I wish I could have stayed longer, but I had to take off Saturday night.

Thanks for all the comments on the 242. There were so many people that came up to the car I kind of lost track on who was there. It was really humbling. All the credit for the car goes to MikeJr. He simply outdid himself on the bodywork and paint. It's beyond any expectations I had.

On that note, this was the only meet I didn't take any pictures at... did anyone happen to have a shot of my 242 with polaris? I found a couple on volvospeed... but unfortunately I had to give the polaris back to their owner. ;-)
 
Put together another video, I used some different footage, including TB/VS shens!
Expect the quality to get better in a while, just uploaded it.

Learning the limits of the DD is a good thing. Instead of working up to the limit you exceeded it right away. That happens. Having fun is most important, why would we do something we hate unless it pays really good.

Raising the tire pressure can help control the sidewall flex. You can exceed the MFG spec for autocross with good results many times. Don't do it on the street, the heat will cause bad things to happen.

My dad was really into the MG's and Opels. Opels are the only thing we had other than Volvos when I was growing up. I have a ton of pictures of those now, haha.
