I am looking to do the same thing with VW 4 cyl blocks.

Could someone post a couple nice big clear pics of the bmw squirter by itself? Does it have a metal check ball on the galley end so that it only works under higher pressure?

Yep I chose the one second from the right, looks like the VW ones in Corrados.
All are made by the same people, the BMW one ises a bigger banjo bolt IF I recall correctly,
M8 x 1 thread and a 6 point hex rather than the VW Torx sheeeeeut.

Ok....I have 1997 squirter block, and I'm fitting a 360 oil pump (with even shorter gears than a regular non-squirter pump) to it. I'm now slightly worried...

Do the squirters have to be aligned as shown in the last picture to prevent them from hitting the crank or rod?
