Installing a 3-3/8" tach in the stock position

I just installed my new bling-bling silver face Ultra-lite tach in the stock cluster. What a PITA.

The stock guage does not seem to be 3-3/8". Basically there was a lot of filing of the hole in the cluster

involed but i'm pleased with the results overall. Also got a 2-1/16" ultralite boost gauge that installed with

no problems.

Has anyone else installed an aftermarket tach in the cluster?

I'll get some pics of

it ASAp as well as all the other shite I've been working on.

I was messing around w/ a Sun Supertach 2 a

while back, it'll go but i have to make a mounting/backing plate for it.
