anyone have pictures of how they did it? im ok with butchering my blinkers, but i dont want to do anything that would affect my ecodes in any way. I have a junk set of ecode blinkers, cut the mounts off and glue on a US set?? i hate the E-code blinkers.
For example.

I've not seen any pictures of how others have done it, and I have not done it.

I did have a set of e-codes in rough shape that had one turn signal screwed to the headlight housing. couple of long wood screws, by the looks of it.

I would build some sort of bracket that fits into the slots on the headlight housing and then just fasten it to the turn signal (screws or small bolts, or just epoxy?). Shouldn't be too hard if you're willing to butcher the US lights.

I've considered doing the same but never have. so post pics when you're done

They're mounted as towery suggested. Small aluminum bracket that screws to the turn signal then comes back to the sheet metal on the fender.

how do you tighten it to the fender? not sure how you would get a wrench in there at the same time as trying to fit that blinker.

There's flat sheet metal that sticks out between the headlight and turn signal that you could probably bolt a bracket to.

Yeah I have my ecodes installed now. But I can't see how you could do that without cutting the tabs off my lights.

Why not try to modify the LENS to fit your US turn signal? You're going for the the 2 color look, yes? These are actual e-codes.

If you have the ecode turn signal housing then try to mod the US lens to fit. If you only have US turn signals and are trying to join them to the ecode housing then you have a small project ahead of you.

Modding the lens would be half ass imo as you would have a blank spot for the reflector, thus defeating the purpose. And more than likely let water in.

These Ecode's were 1981^ in Europe. I do a agree, the ecode lenses look out of place on some cars, matting the ecode with the US style turn signal would look nice.

i ordered these from the motherland, im happy now.

No, those are ugly. Please replace them with some US blinkers.
