Default Help Choosing Lugnuts...

I need some 12x1.5mm Mag Style Lug Nuts. Is there a major difference in quality between Toyota OE:

And these:

Thanks!!!

The oe 960 ones are the same as virgo ones with that thread instead if 1/2-20. They are decent...for those with 740s

Thanks for the tidbit of info. I am using adapters and installing some JDM BBS wheels. They use Mag Style Lug Nuts (12x1.5mm).

I just haven't found many for sale and was curious if all lug nuts were created equal or not. I guess, without knowing the metallurgy of the different brands, it's a crap shoot?

Those are shoulder lugs.
I'd go with the OE from the dealer or the JY.
It's all about the quality of the chrome plating.

I buy my 240 lug nuts at Advance of Auto Zone.
IIRC, they have the metric ones in chrome too, but you may have to swap out your lug wrench to one that fits the lug nuts.

In my case, the 1/2-20 thread has 13/16 socket size instead of OEM's 3/4'

They still fit in my Virgos lug holes though

Thanks RW. That's what I was thinking, but definitely want a locking nut on each wheel (junkyard wont have key?)... Maybe I'll just get the whole setup from the dealer but am sure they are going to charge an arm and leg.
