Does anyone know if the stock Girling clutch master cylinder from a 1990 740 turbo SE is adequate (big enough) to activate a Corvette (1985) clutch slave cylinder? The fork is moving some, but the clutch does not seem to fully disengage. Do I still have air in the line? Do I need a larger master cylinder? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

You may well still have air in the line, you have to bleed the 740 master cylinder by loosening the fitting at the master cylinder while someone holds the clutch pedal down

Ok, I'll try that. Do you know what the specs are (bore and stroke) on this Girling Master cylinder? I am wondering if it is moving enough fluid for the Corvette slave...
