Mounting of Intercooler on +T

Guten Tag,

I'm currently running some random way to small intercooler from a Mercedes W202 (ok for low boost).

I need to get the Intercooler (middle port style) mounted. I cant find any info on the stock mounting (on pictures I can see that they dont use the extended top bracket - thats it).

The big radiator is already installed.

So... I have one of the probably too large ebay intercoolers but with top mounts. I foolishly didn't get 90 degree openings but it worked out.

I AM using the stock top mounts and I bent some of the sheet metal at the ends to accommodate the end pipes. I also needed to get a new battery that was smaller to allow for the 135 degree silicone bend.

Let me be clear. This is a bodge job and is temporary until I sort it out (car is down now as I swap turbos) but it works fine.

Also the blue coupler in the top pic is a 90* coupler. You can see it was too tight and constricted. It got swapped out for the aforementioned 135*
