Default Brand new second hand 1989 740 turbo

Just picked this up for 1800 in Florida. Gonna be on the board quite a deal more. Thinking I should put a wideband and boost gauge on first. Anyone have bolt on exhaust parts laying around? Going through it with all the usual maintenance. The ac works. I appreciate any advice.

Its got rust at two of the roof rack mount points. other than that it seems solid. Should the turbo spool more? it seems it only goes 1/3 the way into the boost gauge yellow

Probably about right for the boost gauge. You'll see when you get a calivrated boost gauge; they usually make 5-7psi stock.

Google "stage zero site:turbobricks.com" or similar for anything you're interested in. Stage zero is general maintenance that these cars typically need.

I can only see your first picture.

Previous owner said he put a cheaper blower fan in it to save money. It's cold but doesn't blow anywhere near as hard as needed for the florida summer heat. Anyone know what type of blower fan he might have installed?
