I have not test drove it yet, it still idles like crap but that could be bad plugs or just the beat to hell motor, plus it was a cold start after a month of not running. I will check for pressure leaks today and then possibly test drive.

Well it drove around the block, made 10psi just fine, but after idling for 10-20 mins it developed a miss at idle and under load it seems to miss at the same pressure.

Going to change the plugs tomorrow and do a compression test, If it needs another HG I am so ready to call it a day with this Volvo motor stuff, V8 is really getting close to go in.

I would be one of the newer Gen III's, same as what my truck has. I am so ready for something a wee bit more modern, then again that engine has twice as many parts so it could be just as much effort as this. I am just wanting to drive the car and stop fixing stuff as it has been down for the last month and this is the best time of year to drive.

Last time I had an issue like this I blew the HG between 3-4, before I pulled it apart for the intake swap I did note a few breaking up issues up top so good chance I did it again, I will know for sure this afternoon when I do a compression test. The engine also has a odd squeak or tick from the top front of the engine, I am still trying to make sense if it is something in the valve train or not, Either way I do need to do a VC gasket so I could at least check clearances if the compression test checks out out.

Well.good news is compression is 120 across all. So doing a few more tests so we shall see.

And problem fixed, #4 injector had the grey wire break, and now it has WR6DC+ plugs.

Made 25psi but hard to compare power as I blew off a few hoses under the manifold so tomorrow I will clamp them on and go for another test drive after work.

Some of us do not have more than one turbo car to enjoy, my 90whp daily driver gets boring after while.

Plus on paper I have the trans and engine mounts already for the v8.... One of my volvos is going to get a v8 so we shall see.

Doesn't matter much as the car runs again so now I have a few weeks to get little bugs fixed and running rich on lh so I can jump ship to MS .... Need to still add that one wire for IAC power still.

Well I am for sure going MS very soon, looks like 75lb injectors on E85 are near the limit as I am pushing into the low 12's AFR wise with LH set @ 250 for the bin. So larger injectors means MS time as I have enough trouble making this thing idle so LH parts can be sold easy like.

What LH parts do you need as I have tons of spare stuff.
