![]() Not the first v8 I would swap in but mad props for all the work. When I swapped an Ls1 in my s10 I also had to adapt a hydroboost unit from a 2005 yukon in order to clear the rear coils. Like said before the brakes do get extremely sensitive.

![]() Custum fiberglass Air intake tube,
![]() It´s just about done! I needed to move the coolant reservoir to the firewall, it was sitting to low where it was before. Ignore the ugly hose clamp it was only there for mocking up. ![]() ![]() |

![]() Very nicely done. I had a chuckle at the previous video, looking forward to seeing and hearing it running properly if you get a chance to do another one.

![]() Hah, that's so cool to hear that engine sound looking over the dash of a 240. Never get tired of that.

![]() Wow! If that fits in a 240, then maybe my idea of a Ford 390 FE engine in a Volvo 240 is not as far fetched as I thought. hhmm, i have fully rebuilt Ford 390 & a C-6 Auto trans, and a 1980 242. Hmm, big block 390 Ford powered 242.

![]() You gonna need a Ford 9" diff for + fun & + win. Volvo diff is a "Goner" at first burnout.

![]() its not the diffs fault really.. you cant sit there and do brake stands with an open diff and expect it to last. or be flooring it off the line with one wheel going 100 and one going 20. weld it or put a g80 in for now.
