Replacing taillights with less faded/cracked ones. Price is very close...not gonna pay $200+ for an OEM set so I'm going with aftermarket

Keep in mind the new ones wont be so faded....#2 was just a quick photoshop.

#1 for original style
#2 for no amber

I feel like the ones with the clear turns will help to set your car apart even more from a typical 245. I like 'em a lot better than the amber ones.

Here's an actual pic of them on the sweetest 245 in the NW.

I don't like the amber, but I think the two white taillight sections is too much on your white car. Maybe its just all the yellow in the pic messed with my eyes though.
I pick a third option, paint the turnsignal red.
Here's a good pic to illustrate:

The farthest 245 is John's with amber turnsignals.
The blue in the middle is Danny's with white turnsignals.
The white in the front is Robert's with red turnsignals.

Whatever you do, match the fronts and sides (if 240's have them). The worst looking combo is clear up front and amber in back, or vise versa. I personally am a fan of the clears.

put the white on it :)
This is my car, after I fit it with t he white indicator tails.. (ps they dont leak!).

I had to crimp the spade-connectors, or they would not grip good to the new cirquit-plate, which might make the lamps melt. But, when crimping them, there are no problems with heat I think :-)

I also fit low watt bulbs in the fog-indicators, so I can ride in style yo

Here is your new wallpaper, yo:

Just say its your car, noone will notice.

Another thing:

I have euro front corners already.

Remember the turn signal bulb is still gonna be yellow, so when I have my flashers on, it'll be yellow light in front and back.

I don't like the looks of 3 reds and a white.

red/white/white/red for sure.

...but obviously you can see there's a divided crowd here. Pick whatever you like the best!

FWIW, I am selling my euro headlights soon to John Lane.
You might be able to get him to trade your white/amber ones for my all clear front turn signal lenses if you'd like to go that route. You'd have to talk to him though, oubviously though nothing has been determined, sort of his call.

I am undecide aswell, I was considering putting the #2 option on my white wagon but it might look ricey. I really want all red. I cannot even seem to find the #2 ones anyway.

+1

That's what I want to do. I also like how you pushed in your rear bumper. Been thinking about doing that, but would suck if I got in an accident since it's my daily driver.

I've been contemplating the red/clear for awhile now myself.

I've decided to stay with the amber, although, I may "tint" them red eventually, which would look pretty neat.
