Question Cause for concern?

Hey everyone,

So I noticed this when I took off the kick panel (for chip upgrading) and noticed these wires were cut.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like previous owner's wiring mod. Car have anything electrical hooked up that isn't OEM? CD player etc?

Not sure but that might possibly be wiring for the OEM Volvo amp, for the OEM radio. I'm very unfamiliar with 940 wiring. I'm a 240 guy.

Hopefully another member, better versed in 940s than I , will help answer your questions.

If ya had a 240 I could tell you more ,as I have the 240 Greenbook Wiring Diagrams.

Bump for someone to help this 940 guy.

Page 2 and 15, bottom middle, show something called "Bridge Connectors". Not sure exactly what they do, but they have brown wires, like your picture, and are located "Behind Right Kick Panel".

Do your cut wires continue down to the plug/connector/bridge strapped to the harness with yellow tape in your picture, and are they brown or brown/black?
