I have my engine serial number and I would like to know what year my engine is.

I cant find anything on how to tell me what year engine I have using the serial number.

All I keep coming across is identifying by the vin which I dont have ??

I thought the year is indicated by the cast dial and arrow.

Am I right in thinking a 6821131 is a 1995 ?

Isn't there a block date stamp down behind the pass side motor mount area? As I remember, it was difficult to find and had an obstructed view, but still definitely findable
