Its all good dude, I started with garbage cars in my teens. I didnt know how to install a stereo or a set of speakers, just try upping my game each time. You going to IPD? Ill be there as long as all goes well in Vegas.

No clue why the pics are so big.....Same method I have used to post for years.

Won't be making it to IPD this year unfortunately. Hoping to have the 4.8L installed by summer so I can make some of the summer meets on the west side

Same here. My current "shop" only has an 8' ceiling and is only 20' deep and 35' wide. Its great dont get me wrong, but its pretty small for what I am doing in it. I could cut the roof off and go up with it but it would be some serious coin and I would be out of a shop for like a year.

Bummer, its a fun day. I didnt even have a car there last year and had a great time.

You guys are killing me....... Its not even the $$$ its the time. One thing I miss about the Eugene house is the room I had in the shop, I could only fit 2 cars in there but I had lots of room around them for tools and to work. Not to mention I could fit a longbed dually in there alongside of the volvo and have room to work on them both.

Pretty picky about the way things are anchored -- I want to pour the slab around the anchors. Consequently, if we can't get to building the dream-house/garage shortly, thinking about adding a small garage next to the existing one and connecting them with a small hallway. That way I can plan the anchors into the pour and build the extra height.
 
Holy crap, haven't been on tb in a while, car looks incredible! Any plans to change the way the X is on the LSX badge? Maybe kinda like the V in the Volvo badge? Sorry for the unsolicited advise!

You sold the Taco! Got that camper shell still? I've got a 17 access cab.

Nice KTM too, 450/525/530EXC? 2005-7?

I honestly was thinking something similar too, I like the badge. Maybe better looking to have the X squared off on all 4 ends rather than at 45s...

took me a year to build my garage. working nights after a 12-14 hour day on set, spending most weekends working in the cold and the heat. Never again, but I get you.
 
Well, didnt get a damn thing done this week as we were out of town for work starting Monday.

Got back in Friday night late and got to work Saturday Morning pretty early. Tore the front end apart and installed the Wilwood pads in the R rotors. The OEM ones in there were about 40% but stopped great, I dont think they would have held up well on the track through. Took Bartons info and ordered up pads for a STI, dropped right in, same hardware as well.

Also picked up some front dust caps from the twins Saturday and got them installed. Found a small brake fluid leak on the passenger caliper, seems as though I didnt get the bleeders tight enough.

Pulled the front door panels and dropped those and the trunk carpet off to the upholstery guy in hopes that he can get them done in the next week.
