Nathan Header porn within...

I have been waiting a long time to get my goodies. It has been a long time since I started gathering stuff up for my 940's 12 second build, but the main pieces finally came in.

Nathan's work speaks for itself. It is a piece of artwork. I have to give a big 'ol THANK YOU to him for his patience. He did most of this without even having the turbo in his possession(my bad). He has been cranking away on this thing for a long time(my bad) and was a pleasure to deal with. He knows his **** as a business man, and a welder. More people should work like him. Only hiccup was the turbo was too damn big. So he fabbed up a cute little adapter once he finally got the turbo in his hands. I gotta say I am pleased it is there. I was really hoping for some hood protrusion.:-D I forgot to note, this needed to clear all the AC stuff. This was a big hurdle to clear. I think he nailed it though!


Anywho, the goods. HE351, header, and DP. Header was coated by performance coatings near nathan. He recommended them and the coating looks amazing. Now all I need is some oil lines(I want to go hardlines), exhaust kit, and some other odds n ends. Some of the pics are at Nathan's during the build. The last two are at my home.

Agreed.....I got so movin on the exhaust fab that I thought about....then thought its really close. I've seen them both ways. With the longer, forward setups I do, there is a flex pipe.

That's a big turbo tho....be interesting to see the power. It makes.
 
not to be a hater but a flex joint on that wastegate tubing would prevent a lot of possible issues
I'm not too worried about it. With more budget coming after I get out of bootcamp, I'm not even sure how many miles this set up will get:lol:. But really, I have seen worse WG setups go awhile. If it snaps or cracks I can have it repaired or a flex joint thrown in.

At this points its probably easiest just to let it break itself off so you can add one later :lol:

I did a supra about 4 years ago with a similiar short wg setup.....all is good. But the exhaust system was supported well.

Motor specs?
Assuming it gets tuned you shouldn't have any issue getting there. My K-cam'd b230f+t and kludge log manifold made 290 wheel at 22-23 psi with the same turbo.

93 b230ft. So far I am on Mike chips, ebay IC, and a Stage 1 RSI cam. Still waiting on a Stage 2 I traded my IPD for. I really want to get some sort of tuning going on(ostrich or MS) but really don't have the know how, or the local help right now. I might put Mr. Willet in charge of some chips for me for the new arrangement. I still have a few things to gather up, but this should be in before the end of July*crosses fingers*:roll:

remove the silencer ring please :)

:-Dof course. Depending on the hood protrusion, I might throw a bell mouth on it
