![]() I've been using "magic erasers" to get scuffs off the hard plastic in my cars lately. Yesterday I did all the door cards in my 940 with a magic eraser, as they were getting some grimy build up on them; did a good job getting that worn in dirt out. I have used diluted Westley's Bleach White to clean stuff like that in the past, but that stuff is so harsh. I just kept the magic eraser wet and wiped it down with a clean cloth as I rubbed. Hit it with some leather/vinyl treatment after to keep it protected. I need to hit center council and especially the arm rest with it tonight.

![]() Wow, I just discovered this thread. I would have thought this would go under the Maintenance section, but great job!
BTW, how about some advice on the cleaning tools you use? Toothbrush, paintbrush, makeup brush? Thanks! |

![]() I use the 713 cleaner diluted and my extractor. Tough stains I use Castrol Super Clean but you have to be weary of the vinyl/plastic because it can stain them.

![]() Just realized yesterday that when dealing with a 21 year old car with gunk stuck in the switches and various dash crevices, a plastic fork works wonders for digging it out. So the past two days I have had lunch in my car and dig crap out of the dash and console when I am finished eating. The thing is starting to look civilized again.

![]() Wow, I like! You should go on a road trip to our locales and demonstarte your products on our cars. That way you'd do the warehousing of all of those fantastic products and we'd enjoy the benefits. Might I suggest you start in the Tampa Bay area first since I suggested it? R.

![]() "P.A.T-Dickman, the very best there is... when you absolutely positively gotta clean every mother****in part in the compartment, accept no subsitutes"
- Sam Jackson on Volvo Detailing I was also leaning towards Pat Dickman, the most interesting detailer in the world. "I don't always detail my car, but when I do, people subscribe. Stay shiny my friends."
