VC24245A3182471 Black GT. Port Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada. 4 other 242 dl's (two for parts) 1980 it is rusted beyond repair and lots of the stock parts are gone like grill/fogs, braces, rear sway. Sad rust belt end...

Were there specific VINs dedicated to GTs?
I believe that my 242 was originally a DL (I could see the outline where the rear badge was removed), but it has a lot of GT-related parts. I've noticed that the VIN on mine is similar to a lot of these...

No, there is no known sequence for GT VINS, nor record known to anyone on here as to how many were made, only number of 242s in total.
Plenty folk have added the grill, interior etc fitted at some stage |
