940 help, aw71L rebuild, not sure how to remove this part

So I'm rebuilding the aw71L in my 94 940T(overdrive was toast, no hard parts broke afaik). so far, everything's coming apart well(the pump and front two drums came out easily), someone's been in it and rtv'd a lot of the places where there should be an oring, but I doubt they went this far in

I removed the C clip on the shaft, I thought this drum? would just slide out, but it's not budging. I have a clutchpack removal tool and with it pushing on the shaft it doesn't seem to budge. just keep putting pressure on it? I'm afraid to force it incase it's the wrong thing to do

There are 2 bolts that hold the center support to the case. Procedure A19 on page 21 of the greenbook shows their location.
