So upon closer examination I found a big hole in the low side line and no charge. Welp.
Decided to replace it all, for the most part.
We will have new compressor, txv, all new hoses, drier, and parallel flow condenser. Also ordered a hydraulic hose crimper and envirosafe refrigerant. Got the evaporator out and cleaned up also, going to straighten a few fins and send it.

You forgot to swap the nice chrome handle on the new tailgate.

Looks good otherwise.

Thank You Ken!
You can see your kjet air box went to good use.
I still have it, but as you can see it is part QwikSteel. Still will likely outlast the rest of the car.

Got condenser mounted and crimping has begun. Decided to order all new fittings, as I was going to attempt to re ferrule 4 of the originals but at this point I'm just going to do it all 100 percent.

Hey , nice job, question What kind of condenser is that?
aftermarket or form another type of car?
I am trying to decide wether or not I use the original cause is over 28 years old and the car was slightly hit up front and im not sure if it is still good.
take care

Yo! The condenser is a universal, available from Amazon or eBay, sold as 16x23 Universal Parallel flow condenser.
Same fittings as stock, but you'll need a little bit longer hoses and 90s on the condenser side fittings.

Fittings and hose are from www.coldhose.com, the crimper again from Amazon. You could also get a local hydraulic or ac shop to crimp your parts if you don't plan on doing it often. I had other ac projects on the horizon so I bought the nice ish tool to crimp my own.

Got the hoses done and everything mounted and in place
Purged with nitrogen then sucked it down for an hour after a fresh oil change in the vac pump. Been holding since last night without moving. Going to shoot a charge in after work and see what happens!
