I'll always have a weak spot for BBS mesh wheels.

Very nice. Widening 700/900 steelies would give the same effect.

Kinda - assuming you're going from like a 6" to an 8" by adding 2" to the front, the offset works out better with FWD wheels.

But then you'd have to space them out and wouldn't have as deep of a dish...

Meh. I have inch and half spacers in front, and inch spacers in rear.

I'm not saying it's not good, by any stretch! Hahaha, I'm just not understanding why it's better to go with the 850 wheels according to bondoboy. Unless you actually care about the strength of the wheel and having both lips better supported by a slightly more centered center.

No dude you're confused. You are widening a 6" rim. You wont' be using any spacers.

If you start with an ET40 you end up around ET10 or ET15 which is a good offset for a 240 with an 8" wide wheel

If you start with an ET25 wheel and add 2" to the front side you end up with ET0 which is higher than you want.

Do the math and it'll make sense. the backspacing on a 6" ET40 is the same as the backspacing on a 8" et10 (roughly i'm doingit in my head). The backspacing stays fixed. It's the backspacing you care about.

Well yeah, I didn't do the math(still didn't), but was(and still am) of the opinion that you can't bolt a 15x6 ET43 wheel on a 240 and have it fit without rubbing on the inside. I mean, considering a Draco with a 205 tire and ET25 will rub on the inside of the rear as it is...
