What’s that, a Saturday morning and some shopping on summit racing. Sounds cheap, easy and possibly reliable if you have a good engine to start with. Add in a retard box and spray away.

Nah, just take the intake off and aim the bottle at the throttle body.

remove everything out of car, dip your body panels in acid long enough to not burn through

12psi on a stock td04-12c turbo? Seems pretty high to me

12b? And I ran 12psi on my 13c with no problem, 16t is just a wee bit funner

I hear any higher than 12 is out of its efficiency range

Never heard of a 12c. Maybe a 12b? 12 psi is fine. Maybe itís close to pushing hot air but I guarantee itís faster than 7 psi lol

I also really appreciate the gesture MSGGrunt, I'm on the Mass border so I could definitely make a trip down there if that's the best option.
I'm also on the mass boarder! Another yard to check is brandy brow. I last went 3 weeks ago and they had no rwd stuff rn but they occasionally have them

Oh how I miss the days when drifting used to be more about car control and suspension and less about 'angle mods', pulling the handbrake on a RWD car to 'initiate', and too-much-power on bald burner tires.

I used to drift my mom's Datsun 810 Maxima when I was 16 (1983) until I looped it into a mailbox with my younger sister and her boyfriend in the back seat. 2.4l I-6+ 4spd manual. Now I want the car to stick at autocross because it's faster and takes more skill, any mutton head can get the rear tires to spin with a decently powered rwd.

Meant the 12b, yea.

I have to figure out how I can add higher boost. I just bought sbabbs chipped ECU for fueling and acceleration, a new manual boost controller and a electronic boost gauge.

I honestly don't feel confident doing it myself because I really feel like ill **** it up somehow. I'm gunna watch a bunch of youtube videos before I do it

Put the boost gauge in first.

Bumping this thread back to the top because I found something pretty interesting. Per this thread - http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=226620 - I went to BSR's website and found this - https://en.bsr.se/tuning-kits/t/778/...40-t-1989-1998 - Its apparently a chipped ECU that provides a +60HP gain (with appropriate modifications of course).

I tried to find threads where people used it but couldn't find anything. Could be worth a shot?

I made 215 hp 230ftlbs of torque to the wheels with stock lh2.2, China Bay 20g ($300),reman brown top injectors ($200) and 3" exhaust (~$100- made it myself.)

Donít throw your money at stuff that weíve never seen people use. I highly doubt thereís any safe drop in Ďchipí to make 220hp with stock everything. Bigger turbo, more fuel, free exhaust, more boost, better intercooler etc. itís a simple magic recipe that works for essentially any turbo car.
