won't work, you can clearly see the left main seal leaking in the first picture, that's going to definitely cause some issues.

Everything's buttoned up and ready to go, tomorrow morning it should see the light of day again.

Probably going to have a metric crapton of exhaust leaks, and I'll be taking it all apart to weld it back up again until Christmas.

The oil drain is a little more horizontal than I'd like, if it gives me problems about the only thing I can do is run it into the pan. :-(

Cross fingers for success and I might have a quick video of the H22 under boost tomorrow.

eyyyyyyyy no video because I didn't get home until late as hell (thanks work) but I got it up to temp & back down a few times just to check stuff and start tracking down the hojillion exhaust leaks.

I'll probably need to get the mani surfaced, but I was kinda expecting that. :e-shrug:

Turbo might be huffing a bit out the tailpipe, was too dark to tell how blue vs. black it was.

Without further ado:

Tuning hopefully will start tomorrow, I've grabbed all my MSQ's and am going to extrapolate it out up into the boostus tonight, and take into account 740ATL's kennytune(tm). Cross fingers I can bail on work early!

so it spooled, promptly popped off an IC hose, but for those 10 seconds or less, I was free...

also, WHY DIDNT ANYBODY TELL ME HOW FUN THIS IS!

And you didn't re-attach it roadside why? :-P

hint, mechanix gloves are a nice thing to have if you need to reach down into hotness territory to re-attach a hose and tighten a clamp on the side of the road...

Awesome! I always love to hear people's impressions after experiencing a turbo 16v. Welcome to the club!

I was selling my turbo to a honda guy last week. Took him for a ride in my wagon to show him that it made boost and functioned properly. He had hold of the roof strap with both hands and was swearing up a storm. He bought the turbo to install on his Honda....
