This weekend Sam, Rob, Towery, and I drove the Fastish and Furrist car @ the Lemons race at Carolina Motorsports Park, It was an amazing time.

We had one of the fastest cars out on track and if it weren't for a few mishaps would of easily placed in the top 5 for the event.

So conclusion is that the car is better without the hatch? No weird drag issues?

With no windows the entire drag question flies out the window. The tailgate is weight... less weight is better

If the car had windows (plastic or glass) it might be a worthwhile discussion

nice dashboard. Made me laugh.
No turbobricks decals on the car? Represent!
Maybe someday I'll be able to participate in one of these.

Looking at your great pics gets me all pumped up for the next Lemons race at Infineon Oct.22-23. I think we have the car set up pretty good we just need to work on the drivers :)

those are mostly phil's great pics...I shot some with ben's camera, but I'm still waiting for him to upload it. I want to see the spin-sequence on the 940 and the near-spin on the grand am

I think the wagon and sedan were both 16v. wagon was pretty fast, but passable. and the sedan, we roared by.

Hundredfourtymilesperhour! Impressive!

Some pics like this,

almost look like a video game.

it's a large spoiler. i bet it makes a difference in the two fast corners. would have liked to have it break off during my dry session so I could tell if there was a difference.

I want to remount it with more support across the top edge, and maybe with an additional flap across the top edge.

we'll shoot for 140 at New Jersey next year. I guarantee we could see 120 with just a couple pounds of boost since we've got more grip now. 140, maybe not though.
