Default Volvo 240 Alternator bracket

Anybody got one of those:

Need it ASAP with all the hardware (including the square bolt that goes though the alternator).

PM me, thanks.

You actually don't want that version of the bracket. The good version is what Volvo still sells. The cylinder for the bushing is shorter and there is a solid spacer on the block side. This makes for a stronger support for the alternator with the short cylinder in the bracket. I usually see these on ebay and Volvo still sells all those parts for fair prices.

The price is not the problem.

Everywhere I've seen/wrote to so far ship or order them from Europe.

I need it in a week and I'm in the middle of nowhere (Horsefly, BC)

I found a welding machine today so I'm ok for the moment.

and yes the "later style" braket seems less stupid than this one.

The parts system took it's time when I ordered that stuff. But it did show up. Nice to have the little slide block and bolts as spares. Hope the welding worked out.
