Default Wheel bearing play

So I had to adjust one front wheel bearing 1980 262
It had 1/4 inch play
Fixed easy peasy
Other side has 1/16 inch play
Should i waste my time tightening it a hair

It's a roller bearing so it needs to have a tiny bit of play or it'll burn up if too tight or wear out if too loose.

You should repack them not just tighten and both sides

Yes I repacked the drivers side when resetting it
I just wonder if the 1/16 is acceptable or should go ahead and tighten and regrease pass side too

I guess Iíll do this side too assuming it looks fine
By the others condition it appeared they had been replaced recently
And just not fine tuned as I. The mechanic didnít want too tight
And they were left a little too loose
