![]() Since my 77 240 got hit I'm looking at replacement parts.
If the core support needs to be replaced what years am I looking at for interchange? 75-85? Or did something change with different headlights/front end? What year did they commando bumpers stop?

![]() Yes, 75-85. It will have the flat sheet metal below the grill. From 86 and on there is a dip in the middle section of the sheet metal for the newer type grill. The whole front section bolts on except for the rivets at the front fenders. Just find a car with a good front end and unbolt the whole front sheet metal. A lot less time than trying to switch around slam panels, and headlight sheet metal, and such.
Commandos stopped here in 82 with the european built cars but we still got canada built cars with commandos till 85.

![]() Pre 86 the core support is 4 separate pieces. After that the support front end is welded all together.
