Default can non slotted get machined to be slotted?

Wondering if anyone has done it before?

It can be done, but there's more to it than just cutting the slot. There needs to be a relief cut for the drive shoe and a hole for the shaft machined as well.

Did 30 of them at one time.

Not true. On TB, a hand held drill, vice and a abrasive saw are all you need.

You left out the heater hose, Harbor Freight welder, and zip ties.

You can always change to a block mount distributor or the wasted coil setups. Going to a block mount distributor will save you hundreds in tune up costs.

Yes. I've had it done to both a A cam and K cam.
