turbo drain hole size?

Are you sure with the 3/4" NPT Thread?
The bore diameter of such thread is 22,6mm, which seems a bit to small.
I measured the drain hole bigger diameter at 24,7mm

A 3/4" bsp thread could work, that one needs a 24,5mm hole.
Anyone done this already?
Seems to be a clean solution for me.

Nothing wrong with the stuff from the shops but why buy if you can build? ;-)

Edit:
Now i have read more about the differences between npt and bsp. Found that there are tapered versions as well.
So maybe i am wrong with the bore stated above.

Dennis

As soon as i have my turboblock back from the machine shop i will figure out a solution.
I think a sort of 3/4" Thread with the right AN10 Adapter would work fine.

Dennis

Your block is at the machine shop?!?

Use the REAL easy button and have them drill/tap it whilst its there.

Well, i honestly did not consider this before.

I think i have to make a call.
To speed things up, i do want a straight 3/4" thread, right?!

no. NPT is tapered by definition. It seals on the threads with teflon tape or RTV.

Use a straight thread if you want to get into trying to seal against an o-ring or a crush washer (you don't)
