The one in my 142 has red stripes at 6k and solid red at 6.5k.
Don't think I've ever seen one with a 7k redline, but I've also never seen one that worked

no autometer is new.. they are trying to say don't buy junky old parts.. but it shouldn't make much of a difference.. and i have heard a few people say that autometers accuracy is so-so.
i didnt buy, i "came across" and i rather have something so damn original (and functionnal) that some blingy plastic cheapo schwab in my cars

as said that is for a 140/160 series, depending on setup internally. pop the back out and it will tell you it is for 4 cyl or 6 cyl. regarding 123gt the difference is that they have long foot base, not round, instead of *1000 they go *100, smooth housing, plastic chrome ring for the bezel, not chromed metal (except for some 68) or silver ring. as pictured.
the swedish police force version of the 1970 122s also had a tacho, same as pictured but with long foot. so there are a whole different varity of them.
