1984 244 engine vin number

Hello, i am looking for the location of all the numbers in the the engine of my 244.

Then engine part number is stamped on the block above the distributor. There is no VIN number on the engine.

And, the US spec engine part numbers for the B21/23 engines are as follows:

499846 - B23F, 9.5:1 CR, single wire O2 sensor, for M46 cars
499847 - B23F, 10.3:1 CR, single wire O2, for Aw70 cars
499868 - B21FT, not factory intercooled, 8.5" clutch, M46 cars
499869 - B21FT, not factory intercooled, Aw71 cars
499926 - B21FT, factory intercooled, 9" clutch, M46 cars
499927 - B21FT, factory intercooled, Aw71 cars
499944 - B23F, 9.5:1 CR, 3-wire O2, M46 cars
499945 - B23F, 10.3:1 CR, 3-wire O2, Aw70 cars

The serial number for the block follows the part number. As an example: 499847-39277. The 39,277th B23F that was originally found in a 1984 245GL with Aw70 that was assembled in February 1984.
