Not much new to post. All just little detail work from here till Friday. Want to machine a replacement for the whole schebang from aluminum, but time didnít permit so I made an insert that replicates the front grille except I curved the hexagons to match the rear radius

Not much time left

Have fun at IPD this weekend, no one can say you don't deserve a relaxing weekend around cars.
I wanted this (tucks behind the bumper):

Vs this (has really awkward cuts):

Between the previous installation and the current one there was almost nothing left here:

And because there was so much missing, coupled with being thin to begin with, it was pretty flimsy:

Since the mold has been made, how many arms/legs would I have to give you to make me one? As well as a splitter?

If anyone is curious how the aluminum exhaust is holding up over a year later. No cracks or leaks to speak of. Just a few scrapes

That exhaust sounds so damn cool. Dude I can't get over how badass this car is.

Enjoy your weekend and your inevitable trophy, you earned it

Watched the whole interview, it's much better to have you describing things in real-time while pointing things out rather than reading/pictures. Also appreciate your humility and down-to-earth style. Congrats on the publicity!

I was going to say the same thing! Congrats.
Even in its old livery, too.
Such a sweet build, and your documentation makes it even better.

It’s really great you’re part of our community. At first glance I don’t like the chassis swap idea but your execution and attention to detail along with documentation of everything changed my mind.
Good job man.

Thanks guys! I’m really looking forward to mostly just enjoying the car the rest of the spring and summer. It got a lot of attention before, but it gets more now

Such a good looking wagon. Glad you’re getting the chance to drive and enjoy it. Let me know when you’re ready to sell it!
