Default Skyblue Volvo 244 from 83

Hi everyone!

Id like to share my ride with u.

Advertisment pictures

I bought it a year ago in september. It had been standing under the tree for about 5 years. And when it arrived to my garage it looked like this.

I worked on it and first time i managed to drive it legally was about month after bought.

Then was winter, i didnt do anything but driving with it. But in march, some updates and it looked like that. And basically all summer there wasnt any updates.

One small update there were. Engine swap. I changed B23A to B230FD.

Some pictures from interior. I didint like the idea to tint back windows, so i decided for curtains.

And in this september i got my new rims. Front are 8 inched wide and have 195/45/r16 tyres and rear are 10 inces wide and have 205/50/r16 tyres.

Then i decided to lower it a bit and cut springs in front.

I dont know what the ET would be. I know that they are 6.5" wide s60 steelies that are widened to 10 inces. But they do fit perfectly, if rear suspension is enough stiff then, its just perfect. And center caps are acctually A le coq export cans, regular size. Fits almost perfectly. In front i need 10mm spacers, because of that ET rim is touching strut housing without spacer.

Well, one thing is that i love this car and actually its my first car, so i have to save her, other think is that, in Estonia it is almost impossible to find so old car in mint condition, because roads are salted and that salt is ****ing up our cars. And that Old Iron is acctually one event in Estonia called Old Iron Weekender

Little information about it.
OLD IRON WEEKENDER is a series of international events dedicated to all American and classical car owners, who also take interest in Rockabilly and Rock’n’Roll music and lifestyle. Some of the many organized activities include: cruising, drive-in cinema and gigs by different bands from Estonia and abroad.

It is, acctually it is more for american cars, but last year there was also other classical cars, my volvo, some old saabs, bmw e28, moskvich. There was good music, nice people, drive in cinema (movie was, duce of spades, pretty good one), cruise.

Very cool! I dig the roof rack. I wouldn't trust people around here to not steal the stuff off it!
