This is a 1991 940se turbo. Yes the one with IRS. I traded a few hours of work for it. For now the irs will stay.
It will get a olive drab paintjob, skid plates, stripped interior, roll bar. I will then add a holset hy35 after a stage 0 followed by fender exhaust, brown top injectors, accumulator mod, and whatever else I feel like.

Spent some time cleaning the outside today. I pressure washed it all getting it ready for a roller paintjob.

Got this little goody today in the mail so I dont have to take the manifold off and have it machined flat.

Dropped off the paperwork and 208$ later it's registered. Well mostly. I'll drop it off for a smog on wednesday then holset maybe this weekend. I need some ideas for stencils for the fender.
 
Got a temporary tag for it. (30day). Gotta smog it then holset and go-go-go.

I drove it around a little today and it does quite well. I can drift this thing way to easy though. My 242 feels like fly paper compared. I kinda like it lol. I took it down a few dirt roads and the IRS is actually pretty good. The front is a little soft so I'll have to do something about that. Ill pick up some bucket seats for it soon that don't weigh 200lbs like these stock all power heated thingus's I do need to figure out why the turn signals don't work though.
 
Hy35w. I have a choice of 2 intercoolers too. I have a massive 4" thick core one with a ssqv welded on a tank with 3" ends. And I have a 2.5" smaller intercooler that was on the bumpercooler of the Benz.
