I'm sure if anyone here had done this, I'd have been able to find it, but I haven't. So I'm asking.
At a glance, it seems like a Chevy S10 tail housing t5 might fit into an early 140 trans tunnel. The shifter is about 6 inches further back, so you'd have to cut a new hole, but I'm thinking you wouldn't have to weld a whole new tunnel in. Then you'd just make a shifter that's a little longer than a mustang T5 and a little shorter than the stock long 140 shifter.
Thoughts?
