T5 vibrational issues

Makes sense. I was wondering why this isn't an issue with a V8... The driveline folk made mention of a driveline dampner. Have you tried this option?

It's an issue with my V8. As I recall my buddy's 99 Mustang GT that got swapped to a T56 also had the same resonance. I think it's just kind of a charactaristic of them. There might be some things that can be done to mask the issue or shift the resonance to a different frequency, but I question whether it can be completely eliminated.

I have a T5 in my 740 wagon (with 331 V8), and have had no such vibration, however I am using a shortened stock 2 piece driveshaft.

At least, I didn't have this problem, but I haven't driven it except under temporary permit since 2008. :(
