custom headlights that fit 240

There were many, many rectangular headlamps used when semi tractors went to the aero style in the late 80's. Mack used headlamps manufactured by Cibie. I have at least 3 heavy duty truck salvage yards in my area.
 
There's a youtube video how to do a custom headlight on Volvo 240. You take you tv screen light apart and use the rest to build on with 6 3/4 round light. Looks ok, but wonder how well it lights up the road at night? Its easy to find on youtube.
 
Yeah it's a philski shoop. I've been obsessed with it ever since I saw it, and it is at the top of my own "things to do to a 240 before I die" list.

He's described it as being reminiscent of a Cylon from the original Battlestar Galactica which I completely agree with.
