Radio Adapter

Don't think so. Pretty sure you need this one if you have the amp that's down above where your left foot is, which you should.

Crutchfield actually has a correct picture, showing that the speaker harness is super long to reach down to the amp. But it's the same part number so yeah this is the right one.

Yup, got this to make a couple adapter for my car, can confirm it works for the late 80’s early 90’s care if you have the wide connector and amp into your radio.

Are you converting to an aftermarket radio or a later Volvo double din radio? If you’re staying OEM I can help with the wiring.
 
With the 88-90 760 you still have to figure out the dash speakers. The dash speakers are 8 ohm and are connected to the radio. The Amp bypass harness connects the front and rear door speakers. The front door speakers are 4 ohm. The 760 wagon rear speaker are 4 ohm. If your 760 is a sedan it has 8 ohm speakers in the rear doors and the rear deck wired in parallel to create a 4 ohm load.
