Alright, I figured I'd get a thread started for everyone participating in this over time [hence why it is stickied]. So when you take your pictures during the journey, post them here.

Here are my pic's from my travels

gassing up early in the morning

the journal, along with the 4 pack of Rockstar on the floor that kept me going

goofing off with the camera

Stopped in Indio, about 100 miles out of LA

Kinda cool seeing snow capped mountains....in a desert.

Here are the rest of the pictures so from this weekend
http://www.pbase.com/brickster151/socal_trip&page=all

Enjoy and safe travels to everyone participating in this! [ps - dont do this http://www.pbase.com/brickster151/image/38683520 ]

And one Patrick doesn't know about.

Very cool - guys. The pictures of him writing in the journal are unexpectedly moving I must admit - no kidding.

That would be cool if those of you who are travelling with it can get a shot of yourself signing it - man.

Nice - thanks.

Dave Barton hands off Matt's Journal, Santa Barbara, California.

Santa Barbara Fuel Prices

Mattei's Tavern, Los Olivos, CA. The Gateway to the Santa Ynez Wine Country.

Port San Luis, just South of San Luis Obispo, CA.

It was a great honor to be included in Matt's Memorial Journey. Many thanks to those who organized this and to all who take part.

I hope you all get a chance to read the introduction to the Journal. Whomever wrote it deserves a big thumbs up, it's simply brilliant.

Do a search for his name you'll find plenty. He is a fellow turbobricker that died tragically on a road trip.

Great guy, good friend

One from the PNW 2006 meet - the group shot with our own '78 GT. The Oregon/Washington crew passing it off to the Alberta crew, while the BC crew hosts the event.

http://www.calgaryvolvoclub.com/gall...geViewsIndex=1

'tis too big to post directly.

Top row: Raz (Raz), Trevor (non-member), Martin (Pops122), Willow (non-member), Stephane (Pa231), Leivon (Leivon), Terry (non-member), Benson (lammy), James (945Ti), Ray (nocones), Tara (non-member), Andy (Edicus), Dale (245GTi), Geoff (Geoff240Ti), Bryan & Chandra (mrbman7), Jason & GF (missed her introduction) (avenger).

Bottom row: Ian (Volvord), Bryson (I think? I missed the intro there too) (non-member?), Kristian (Nightburnz), Matt (Matt Dupuis), Athal (Canuckvolvo), Kyle (klr142), Chris (frosty 242), John (The Aspirator)

If you guys come through my town (about 50mi north of San Fransisco), I'd love to sign the journal. Hit me up if you're headed my way. I can't drive anywhere yet, so you'd have to come through here, but I'm just off of 101, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Travis - I know how much work that took to scan and post the entire journal - especially in view of your tight vacation time-line, thanks so much for doing that.

It is truly moving, I don't know what else to say.

Thanks, thanks, thanks
