Default 1992 Volvo 240 Drive Shaft Size

Hey All,

I have a 92 240 wagon and my center support cushion is trashed. I noticed they are sold in two different diameters. How can I find the measurement of the shaft for my wag??

Thanks!

Actually, there are 3 sizes. I know because I bought all 3 before getting the right one.

What cars came with the smaller driveshafts, I've never run into one? (any I've measured were 86+ and automatic though)

My 79 242 w/ M45 came with the smaller 1.75" diameter driveshaft.

Semi-related question...
OP, how long is the driveshaft in your car (I'm assuming it's an auto)?
