Microsquirt 16v+t

Got this running spectacle in trade for a vortech 350 i had and a rebuilt 700r4. Should be a great parts donor. That valve cover is pristine, i think mine is getting a facelift.

Flexplate is broken/ bolts loose or broken. I used loctite. Will have pics tonight or tomorrow when i have time, right now this baby girl is being needy, ;) .

I will see about dowel pin, if i remember correctly mine was missing too, smh.. Didn't even cross my mind till now. What was the final solution Kenny?

Old flexplate pulled out.All bolts were hand loose, i made mistake of going all impact on it. So i used flexplate off of parts 16 valve, and bolts from the parts 16 valve as well as i stretched the bolts on the old one. Torqued to 50ft Lb and relock- tite , it with blue threadlocker. I also installed the bright HID kit(with ballast) from a 1998 supra, into the fog lights. To say it's bright, just isn't doing it justice.

No dowels missing, all stock stuff there. for some reason i thought there may have been a dowel on the crank, but there's not.

ARP hardware, damn, not a bad idea there.. But it was my own fault for using impact. If it happens again, then its arp hardware for sure. I think the trans will give out before the bolts get loose again.

Yeah, think something like that would get impounded and crushed and you'd get a really nasty ban plus penalty as soon as someone saw you on the road, here in the UK :D

Yeah some places would not allow it, the police around here think it's fantastic. They stop and chat to me about it, usually beginning and ending with laughter. It surprising how many smiles per mile i get with this car, in all seriousness.

Cleaned up some wiring relocated some relays. Then found this, well dayum.

1000 miles yesterday, self tuned (with help from Kenny and others online *THANKS*), self built with help on welding, and self gratifying. I need to upgrade injectors next hopefully, change tire and wheel combo, and add another 450lph pump. Pretty pleased, will be adding 70mm when injectors get upgraded, then spray or compressed air to aide spooling, on an already tragic lag wagon. Full boost in at 5100rpm, in first. It doesn't feel near as laggy as it sounds, it makes some power at 3800rpm and builds from there. Just doesn't make the psi.
