Trying to Swap a 1987 M47 (5 Speed) into my 1991 Automatic AW71, i am having the following issue I pulled the auto trans out and found out the flywheel will not bolt on, my car is a 91 with the crank position sensor on the bell housing. What do I have to do now?
thanks

Why won't the flywheel bolt on? Did you remove the flex plate spacer from the back of the crank?

Sounds like you've discovered that the '87 flywheel doesn't have the holes machined into it for the CPS. You just need either a 1989-on dished flywheel or one of the STS Machining flat flywheels that has been machined for the CPS.

Cool. While you're at it, get the bronze/delrin shifter bushings. It'll be a little louder than stock, but, there's no slop in the shift linkage.
