Thank you guys, much too kind!

I need to get back to work on it. My summer has been surprisingly busy (mainly with a major scorched earth backyard renovation. The upside is I get a shed to get a bunch of crap out of the garage when I'm done).

Not really a car update... but I did get to paint a customers guitar in the color scheme of the wagon.

What's amazing is how it's two different colors inside to outside in sunlight

So there we go. Same bronze powder for the pickguard as the wheels (well... wheel currently) will be.

Me too!!! I can't believe I haven't had time to touch it in the last 3-4 months. We've been doing a completely backyard tear out so haven't had much free summer time).

Do have rods and pistons. A great "grp-a" grill just showed up.

That guitar is damn purty. Non-update update delivers

LOL

this was when we bought the house

Oh it was so nice! For that first summer. Then winter hit and we realized it was graded all wrong, had all kinds of issues and generally got worse every year.

This was 3 weeks ago

Driving a skid steer = mucho fun.

I need to get pictures of the concrete, they just finished that. The upside is now that all thats poured I get to build my shed that will move my air compressor and a bunch of garden/yard tools out of the garage. That will be very nice.

Guitar looks great, but does your client know that it's a prototype for a Volvo station wagon?

OMG I did something!!

Started blocking out the rear quarter. (in progress picture)

Had some help from a little friend

But the big thing today was

I actually bought a Hobart 165tig months ago and been meaning to wire it up. Added a 60 amp sub panel in the garage with a dedicated 30 amp for the tig and 20 for my mig (it would occasionally trip the breaker on one of my circuits). Have plenty of room for a bigger tig down the road or larger compressor now.

Huzzah.

Back to work I suppose.

Really nice to see some updates here again!
Seeing that clean body with primer really makes me want to work on my own car!

Next purchase for that TIG should be a water cooled torch and a cooler. You will never look back!

It's not much of an update but atleast this will keep the next update from being "I burned down the garage".

I think I've finally got my rear seat mounting figured out.

Yep. Not much but it's been a surprisingly distracted summer. Just got back from Berlin last week too.

picked this complete 2.3 t5 up from Dean here for a song. I needed the bottom end and accessories. I'll bust it all apart after the NAMM show.

Probably the closest thing to a mini meet is we have the annual open house this year June 13th for the guitar business. Squeeze inn truck. One of my employees brews all the bear. Music. Raffles it's a blast. Come up for it!
