740 coolant lines in a 240

Random question, If I order 740 coolant lines with the Turbo water feeds will they work with a 240?

Radiator is in the stock non intercooled location.

Sweet, I'm running an electric fan.

Thanks

No the alternator.
The turbo line Tees off the bottom of the lower rad hose.
The alternator on the 240 is on the opposite side as the 740.
That puts it very close to the turbo line.
You have to clock the hose and zip tie the turbo line so there's no chance it can hit.
The alternator will cut that coolant line in two seconds.

I ordered a 940 turbo coolant hose for my +t and it works great. It's bent a little differently but doesn't matter.

I too went with an e fan so it was okay. Now I'm running a mechanical fan again and it will hit the hose under load. I moved the radiator over about a half inch and ratchet strapped the motor tight and it doesn't hit (no shroud as of now). I will be returning to a 240 lower hose soon and 'teeing' into it.

Man, I misread that . . . but still OK! Because I'm running a 740 alt bracket as well.

Thanks for the help.

What the hell!?...Is that floor epoxy? :wtf:

No, its zolatone industrial paint. It looked better when it wasn't cleared. But the manufacture of the paint recommended it be cleared when near oil and heat for longevity and to aid cleaning.

Not sure how i feel about it . . . . but its already done.

Unique for sure.
I don't think anyone is going to tell you it looks bad.
Kinda can't go wrong under the hood.
